Rimas Kurtinaitis, BC Khimki head coach:
— Before the game I said that this was not going to be an easy game. It was very tough for us, we started badly, had some problems in defending pick and roll, but I can be satisfied with the level of character that my players have shown. We had too many turnovers and I can't be satisfied with some of our offensive plays. Fortunately we made some easy baskets when it was important. Looking just at the statistics I can say that the five more free throws that we scored made the difference. We had some problems before this season, we lost players like Frydzon and Planinic but things are looking better now. I don't wanna talk about our ambitions in this competition because we are taking one game at a time and hope for the best.
Marko Popovic, BC Khimki guard:
— We knew exactly where we are coming, this is no surprise for us.We knew that Igokea started this season with some losses but after they changed few players their game improved drastically. They had the will power and it took some time for us to adopt to their defence, so they had nine points lead at halftime. But we came strong in the second half, started playing some defence, hit some shots, and had more luck in the overtime. Congratulations to Igokea, they really made us earn this victory the hard way.
