POST-GAME QUOTES

Stevan Karadzic, BC Enisey head coach:

"We didn't expect to win and I'm very satisfied with the result. We knew that Khimki had some injured players, but we were also missing three players, plus Perovic. We came to Khimki determined to play our best. We played without pressure, which is why we hit some big shots that gave us the lead. Our opponent left a lot on the court in the Eurocup game and we took advantage of that. The win was important for our confidence. There are three games left in the season and we want to get a few more wins. Cooper's last shot was not right. I didn't see it because I was shaking Kurtinaitis's hand. Somebody told me later what happened".

Rimas Kurtinaitis, BC Khimki head coach:

"It's tough to play without five of your best players. I hoped that our back-ups would do a better job today, but we couldn't do much with Sakharov or Pateev. You could feel the fatigue. We held on for three quarters, but lost the 4th quarter by 18. We can't let ourselves finish games like that, losing by such a big margin. I didn't like Cooper's last shot or the opposing coaches' decision to call a timeout with a minute left leading by 14. But you don't judge the team that wins. Congratulations to Enisey on a good game. I'd like to apologize to the fans, whom we disappointed. We'll try to correct all of our mistakes".
