Post-game quotes
Rimas Kurtinaitis, BC Khimki head coach:
"We played good defense and played with good effort, good energy. For sure, we made less mistakes today in the end because against Fenerbahce we made a lot of turnovers and mistakes on defense at the end of the game. We are a little more experienced from that game and I am happy with this results. Beating Real Madrid on the road is not easy. It is a great victory. We knew it would be really difficult to beat Madrid. We wanted to control the game for all 40 minutes and stop Madrid's comebacks. Even when they look like they are out of the game, Madrid always finds the way to come back, but we were able to stop that."
Tyrese Rice, BC Khimki guard:
"It is a big game for us, a big win on the road. We knew we had to come out and play hard to get this win here. It was big for us. It is my first win here, also. I think I have only seen Valencia winn here, it is definitely an accomplishment for us to get a big win on the road. I just try to do whatever it takes for the team. Some days I am scoring the basketball and some days I am just passing the ball. Wherever it takes to win games, I am trying to do that".
Marko Todorovic, BC Khimki forward:
"It is our second win against Real Madrid in this year's Euroleague, and the fact that we beat them twice says a lot of good things about us. This is a valuable win for us, not only because we beat Real Madrid, but also because we finally managed to win on the road. We were close to it against Fenerbahce in Turkey, but couldn't make it, but we did it this time, in a place where not many teams will do this."
