Rimas Kurtinaitis:

— I’m happy with the outcome of the game. The main point is we played with energy, passion and willingness. In spite of a smart game in offense, I’m pleased with our defense; we allowed Besiktas JK to score only 56 points. All the guys except Matt Nielsen and Zoran Planinic, who were ill, took part in the game and did well. We needed this victory very much because we didn’t want to lose points to a team that might win, but probably wouldn’t have gone further. I would like to thank my players for the job they did on the court.

Paul Davis:

— We played well in the first half and continued in the third quarter, which was great. It wasn’t an easy victory because we played a very good team. I believe we will win some other games in the Top 16, but this one was very important, especially after the loss to Olympiacos. Playing against a team that has nothing to lose is very tough because it may do whatever it can for a win. We built a big margin that will help us in the Top 16 standings. It may put us in great position.

K.C. Rivers:

— We coped with our opponent and the whole team did a great job even without Zoran Planinic, who is sick with the flu. I suppose our pressure, intensity and defense was the key for the victory. In the beginning of the game there was some kind of confusion, we made difficult shots. At the same time I can say Besiktas JK is a good team, they don’t have wins in the Top 16, but they play very sound. Our group is very tough, the level is very high and you never know what will happen in the next games.
