Rimas Kurtinaitis, BC Khimki head coach:

— I’m happy for this win. I thought the game would have turned to be easier because we had an advantage on Montepaschi rested some of our players. But I didn’t feel that on the court. We were not fresher and faster. We controlled the course of the game, but in the third quarter had some problems. It’s great that we don’t lose confidence, maintained our structure and won. We were better than Montepaschi in the paint, our frontcourt players Loncar and Augustine did their best tonight. So our streak goes on.

Marco Crespi, Montepaschi Siena head coach:

— First of all I would like to congratulate on this win that is the 28th for them in a row. I think when a team has such a streak we are to congratulate the head coach, assistant coach and all the players. I suppose we played an average game, but we are not the same level as Khimki; we were also up in the third quarter and I’m satisfied about that. With the game tied, Popovic, Koponen and Augustine made four high-level shots, but we have to be satisfied with such a performance.
