BC Khimki’s General Directorl, Víctor BYCHKOV explained:

— We placed a lot of hope in Pavel, who has NBA experience. He was always “in the race.” But he could not incorporate himself into the club for several motives, the main one being the amount of injuries he suffered during the season. Rescinding his contract was not an easy decision to reach.

— On the team’s front line, Wolkowiski plays well, while Lampe is improving from game to game. Here at the club we are certain that Podkolzin will garner the interest of other teams. We wish him much success, and continued fulfillment of his unquestionable talent in his new place of employment.
