PRE-GAME QUOTES
Rimas Kurtinaitis, BC Khimki head coach:
"We have a knotty situation in our group. Both teams, Real Madrid and Khimki, need this win and we are preparing for that. Now we go to Madrid and, for sure, we want to win. Our opponent plays differently. At home, they usually perform well but not so solid as in the last years. Everything can happen but I know that it will be very tough. They have a full 15-thousand gym and with this support and emotions, they do really well. We know Real Madrid, their values, their fast basketball and we will try to compete".
Zoran Dragic, BC Khimki guard:
"It was a tough feeling after the loss to Fenerbahce because we had game in our hands. We gave our best but unfortunately, Fenerbahce was better that game. So now, we have another game with Real Madrid and I think it will be a totally different matchup comparing to the first game in Khimki. It will be tough but if we play as we did in the first game, I think we can make some great stuff. We need to forget what happened in Istanbul as we have new plays. You can win and you can lose games but you just need to be focused all the time. We need to prepare as much as possible and try to win it. Real is playing better right now but they lost to Strasbourg last week and everybody feels the same. They didn’t change so much and now we know each other better. It will be tough".
