The number of sailed season tickets before the first match was more than one thousand. This evening tit was sold-out stadium. Among guests of honor was the Moscow Region Governor Boris Gromov, the head of Khimki district Vladimir Strelchenko, the legends of basketball Ivan Edeshko, Alexander Boloshev, Sergey Tarakanov, Sergey Panov and the Football club “Khimki” headed by coach Sergey Yuran and the leader Egor Titov.

All guests of Basketball Center saw the new prematch show: the performance of young players and dance team. The lazer show, accompanied by the music of new DJ. The season was opened by the Anthem of Russia.

For the first time in history of Russian basketball there was organized the internet video-broadcast of match by efforts of BC Khimki managers. The experiment was successful. More than 5 thousands could watch the broadcast in high resolution.

Khimki started well, active and aggressively. In second period the score was 33-22 in favor of Bc Khimki, Spartak” started to offer resistance and tried to keep the score close. After long break our team palyed closer to backboards. The liaison of “big” Lampe and Garbajosa was very useful. The score was 58-45.

The key third period BC Khimki won. Only at the end of the match “Spartak” gained initiative and cut the lead. Kemzura called a minute. As a result BC Khimki acted carefully and won convincingly.
