Rimas Kurtinaitis, BC Khimki head coach:
— Like two years ago, after losing in Euroleague qualifying round, our first home game was against Krasnye Krylia, and we won by 4-5 points. Today it was a difficult game and we're just getting going so far. After first two quarters it seemed like the game should be easier for us, but we completely gave away the initiative to the opponent, lost our confidence and it looked like Krasnye Krylia was the home team, not us. With the departures of Planinic and Fridzon, the role of a leader is still vacant and we're waiting for someone to fill it. I'm happy for Monya — he did great job today and his shots were the key for the win. I'm also happy for Koponen, as he continues to play at the level that he did last season, or even better. I'm happy that we won. We'll keep working to get in better shape.
