POST-GAME QUOTES

Rimas Kurtinaitis, BC Khimki head coach:

— I'm happy that we won. We may have been a bit stiff to start, but we looked like a team today, as evidenced by the 31 assists. There were mistakes on defense and offense, but I'm satisfied with our effort. The Finns may not be as skilled, but they're fast. We kept up with them and our skill won out. We lacked that against Zenit. I'm very happy for Stas Ilnitsky. He started and played great: eight rebounds and good defense. Overall, everyone played pretty well.

Greg Gibson, Bisons head coach:

— There were a lot of positive moments in this game. First of all, we never give up and fight until the end. The second thing is that we got off to a good start before giving up a 13-0 run to Khimki. I want to give my players credit. With 6-7 minutes left to play, we still had a shot at winning, which was our goal. Everyone contributed today: Aaron Johnson brought a lot of energy and created opportunities for his teammates. I'd also like to note Ian Hummer, Travis Nelson and Matti Nuutinen. We're waiting for Tuukka Kotti to return. He will make our frontline significantly stronger.
