At the end of the game following the day of the subsequent Higher League A Division Championship game, BC Khimki-3 was lacking the strength enough to recover the lead lost during the match. Although in the first minutes the home team was blatantly ahead on the scoreboard…
Results: 80-85 (27-19, 18-18, 23-28, 12-20).
Top scorers: Isakov (23 + 3 assists + 7 rebounds), Gubanov (20 + 3 assists + 9 rebounds), Khmara (11 + 2 assists + 3 blocks + 5 rebounds), Zinchenko (10 + 3 assists + 9 rebounds), Stepanenkov (9 + 7 rebounds + 4 blocks).
Khimki easily won in the battle of the rebounds, and acheived astounding and precise offensive attacks at all distances, but suffered 29 losses. This was decisive and did not let the team ride to victory. It should be noted, however, that early on in the game, the Moscow Region players led the score, and in the end played a complicated final. The only difference was that at that moment they were able to maintain their handicap.
