ULEB Cup Second stage defined by drawing19 january 2007

On Friday, in the coach’s room of the ULEB, a drawing for the second eliminatory stage of the cup took place. BC Khimki’s opponent in the 1/8 final will be one of the tournament’s most famous clubs, Belgrade’s
Crvena Zvezda. The first 1/8 game will play out on 30 January in the Serbian capital. The Russian teams drew up the other two favorite teams of the cup: Real Madrid and Siena’s Montepaschi.

It is worth mentioning that the MVP for the regular trophy, Milan Gurovic is on the roster for the 15-time winner of the Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia-Serbia & Montenegro Championship, 6-time champion of the National Cup, titleholder of the Cup of Cups 74. This small forward scores an average 27 points per game in the Euro League Cup.
