On Sunday, July 20, 2014 the draw procedure and official introduction of the 2014/2015 VTB United League season took place in Moscow. According to the draw, BC Khimki will play in Group B.

CSKA Moscow (Russia), Lokomotiv-Kuban (Russia), Nizhny Novgorod (Russia), Zenit (Russia), Krasny Oktyabr (Russia), Neptunas (Lithuania), Dzukija (Lithuania), Enisey (Russia), Kalev (Estonia), Nymburk (Czech Republic), wild card.
Group B:
BC Khimki (Russia), UNICS (Russia), Krasnye Krylia (Russia), Avtodor (Russia), Lietuvos Rytas (Lithuania), Lietkabelis (Lithuania), Nevezis (Lithuania), Astana (Kazakhstan), Tsmoki-Minsk (Belarus), VEF (Latvia), Bisons (Finland).

— There are no weak teams in the VTB United League, and our group is not as simple as it might seem at first glance. In the regular season, we will try to win maximum games as in the last year. It will be interesting to look at the new team Nilan Bisons, two-time Finnish champion and 2013/2014 Eurocup debutant. Of course, this meeting will cause particular interest in the 2013 best Finnish athlete Petteri Koponen. The level of the League is growing every year, and I'm sure there will be no easy games next season.
