CSKA Moscow center, Sasha Kaun (211-C-85) is out indefinitely with a knee injury, as announced by the Russian team.
Kaun has returned to action in his team's Euroleague American tour games against Oklahoma City and Cleveland, but he missed his team's Euroleague home opener against AJ Milano. Kaun did not play in the Russian League against Spartak St. Petersburg due to a left knee injury. He is flying to the United States today to find out about his knee ligament injury, which may require surgery. The diagnosis will clarify how much time Kaun needs to return to action, his rehabilitation and the treatment to follow. Kaun was CSKA's starting center last season, averaging 9.1 points on 71.3% two-pointers and 4.6 rebounds in 21 Euroleague games.
