CSKA and Boban Marjanovic parted the ways 4  july  2011

PBC CSKA Moscow
Our club and center Boban Marjanovic agreed to terminate the contract valid until summer of 2012. Serb was rented to Zalgiris after the end of the Euroleague regular season and became the Lithuanian champion with Kaunas club.
Marjanovic signed for CSKA before the start of 2010-11 season. He played in 8 Euroleague games (4.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 0.6 blocked shots, 11.6 minutes), 5 PBL games (6.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 0.6 blocked shots, 13.9 minutes) and 4 VTB United League games (8.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 0.8 blocked shots, 16.9 minutes).

Andrey Vatutin, PBC CSKA President:

— We watched Boban closely in Zalgiris and we are happy that he played in the Euroleague Top 16 and won Lithuanian League title. Our club strengthen center position recently, we have several Russian players on 5 spot too, so we consider unfair to keep Boban on the bench. We know that Marjanovic draws an interest from Russian and Western European clubs and we wish him all the best in his future career.
