Caner-Medley was chosen to the All-Eurocup second team when he played for Asefa Estudiantes last season. The list is fully composed of players that have guided their teams to the Eurocup Finals, which take place on April 14 and 15 in Khimki, Russia. The All-Eurocup second team, which was previously unveiled, features Yotam Halperin of Spartak, Ramel Curry of BC Donetsk, Pavel Pumprla of CEZ Nymburk, Jeremiah Massey of Lokomotiv Kuban and Bojan Dubljevic of KK Buducnost Voli. Before that, Jure Zdovc was chosen as the Eurocup Coach of the Year and Valanciunas became the 2011-12 Eurocup Rising Star. Two more awards will be announced. On Friday, April 6, one of the players chosen to the All-Eurocup first team will become the 2011-12 Eurocup MVP. Last but not least, the Eurocup Finals MVP award will go the best player at that event as voted by accredited journalists in attendance during the title game.

Beverley (12.9 ppg., 81% FT, 4.1 rpg., 3.8 apg., 2 spg., 16.9 index) has led Spartak in scoring, assists, steals, fouls drawn and performance index ranking, helping the team to get a near-perfect 15-1 from the Qualifying Rounds to the Eurocup Finals. He earned Last 16 Game 1 MVP honors with a 27 index. Beverley is all over the Eurocup individual stats boards, tying for second place in index and for ninth place in assists, leading the competition in steals and ranking second in fouls drawn (5.8 per game). Planinic (10.5 ppg., 84.2% FT, 3.1 rpg., 4.9 apg., 1.5 spg., 14.7 index) leads BC Khimki in assists, steals, fouls drawn and index. Planinic is third overall in assists and seventh in fouls drawn (4.6 per game) in this Eurocup season. Seibutis (14.3 ppg., 48.8% 3FG, 88.6% FT, 2.9 rpg., 2.3 apg.) is Lietuvos Rytas' top scorer and also leads the team in fouls drawn. It is the competition's fifth top scorer, ranks third in free throw percentage and fourth in three-point percentage. Caner-Medley (12.8 ppg., 84.4% FT, 6.1 rpg., 1.6 spg., 15.5 index) leads Valencia Basket in scoring, rebounding, assists and index ranking. He was the regular season Game 3 MVP with a 29 index, ranking eighth in this category so far this season. Caner-Medley is the competition's sixth-best rebounder and ranks seventh in steals. As everyone in the All-Eurocup team, Caner-Medley led Valencia to the Eurocup Finals. Valanciunas (11.3 ppg., 64.1% 2FG, 7.9 rpg., 1.6 bpg., 16.9 index) becomes the first Eurocup Rising Star award winner to reach the All-Eurocup first team. He ties for second place in index, is also second in total rebounds, fourth in blocks and seventh in two-point percentage.
