Buducnost Voli signed shouting guard Matt Bouldin for the remainder of the season. Bouldin (1.96 meters, 23 years old) is an elite shooter who was a star during his college basketball days at Gonzaga University.
He was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Year after his senior season in 2010, during which he averaged 15.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4 assists in 33 games. He finished his college career ranked as the Bulldogs’ sixth-best scorer and among the top five in both assists and steals. Among his college teammates at Gonzaga were former All-Euroleague guard Jeremy Pargo and current KK Zagreb big man Josh Heytvelt. Bouldin began his European career last season with Iraklis Thessaloniki, for whom he averaged 9.7 points and 3 rebounds in 10 games. He finished that season with Tulsa in the D-league. Bouldin came to terms with Buducnost two weeks ago, but an injury delayed the signing. Bouldin is expected to debut next week in the Last 16.
