Ventspils invited Vernon Teel (193-G-87, college: Loyola Mary). The guard will be tested during a try-out period.
Vernon Teel spent the previous season in England. He played for the London Leopards. The guard notched 23.8 points, 9.1 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 3.1 steals per game in EBL. Vernon Teel led his team to the title. He was named All-British EBL Division One Finals MVP. The guard was also trumped All-British EBL Division One Co-Player of the Year. It was the first pro season for Vernon Teel. He graduated from Loyola Marymount in 2011. The guard notched 12.8 points, 5.7 boards, 3.8 assists and 1.7 steals per appearance in his senior season.
