VEF Riga steps closer to the title after a 78:69 road win in Game 4. It looked good early as Ventspils took an 11-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then VEF Riga took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 9 points. They made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. VEF Riga forced 23 Ventspils turnovers. Ventspils were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Bulgarian guard Earl Rowland (188-83, college: St.Mary's, CA) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and American forward Will Daniels (203-86, college: Rhode Island) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four VEF Riga players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Folarin Campbell (192-86, college: George Mason) responded with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and international forward Janis Timma (201-92, agency: FCM) scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
