Nizhny Novgorod surprise ALBA in Day 2 of the Pinar Cup. The Russian team posted an 81:78 win as four teams are now with the same 1-1 records.
ALBA started the game with a 17-12 lead, but the opponents grabbed the lead at the halftime after a 26-18 rally in the second period. The latter added 20-19 run in the third period and managed to seal the victory.
Jahmar Young (196-G-86, agency: Higher Vision Sports, college: N.Mexico St.) was unstoppable with 27 points for the winners and Primoz Brezec (216-F/C-79) nailed 16.
