EuroLeague
Anadolu Efes Istanbul announced Tuesday that it has signed experienced guard Zoran Dragic for the rest of this season with an option for one more.
Dragic (1.96 meters, 28 years old) arrives from AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan, where he spent last season but was released without appearing in any games during the current one. Dragic played in 23 EuroLeague games for Milan last season, starting more than half of those while averaging 7.0 points and 2.2 rebounds. He had previously played three more EuroLeague seasons with two other clubs, between 2012 and 2013 with Unicaja Malaga and the 2015-16 season with Khimki Moscow Region. In 91 EuroLeague games total, he has averaged 7.6 points and 2.6 rebounds. He has also played for Slovan and Krka Novo Mesto in his native Slovenia, as well as for Phoenix and Miami of the NBA. Dragic had been nursing a knee injury over the summer and missed his habitual spot on the Slovenian national team that proceeded to win EuroBasket 2017.
