Khimki Moscow Region star Alexey Shved delivered another brilliant display to claim the MVP of the Round award for the seventh time in his outstanding career.
The sharpshooter was a hugely effective scorer and distributor as his team boosted its playoffs hopes by dismantling LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne on Friday night, combining 24 points with a career joint-best 13 assists. Shved went 9-of-14 for field goal shooting, also adding 3 steals and committing just 1 turnover for a PIR of 37, another joint career best. Another superb individual performance came from Vasilije Micic of Anadolu Efes Istanbul, who amassed a PIR of 35 by combining 23 points with 9 assists as his team overcame ALBA Berlin on the road. Nikola Mirotic was the next best performer, leading FC Barcelona to a stunning victory at CSKA Moscow with a PIR of 32. Greg Monroe shone in an away win for FC Bayern Munich at Zenit St Petersburg, grabbing a PIR of 31, and Walter Tavares had a personal rating of 30 as Real Madrid defeated Panathinaikos OPAP Athens.

Monroe topped this week’s scoring with 26 points for Bayern. Currently-injured Efes star Shane Larkin remains the season’s leading scorer with 22.0 points per game. Tavares topped the round’s rebounders with 10 boards, but Nikola Milutinov of Olympiacos Piraeus is the competition’s leading boards man with 8.2 on average. Shved’s 13 assists were the most achieved this week. Panathinaikos guard Nick Calathes leads the overall assists chart with 9.3 per game. Louis Labeyrie had 4 steals for Valencia in its loss against Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, while Pierria Henry of KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz leads all players in steals this season, averaging 1.7. DeShaun Thomas of Panathinaikos, Tim Abromaitis of Zenit St Petersburg, Paul Zipser and Josh Huestis of Bayern and Ismael Bako of ASVEL all blocked two shots this week. Tavares remains the overall leader with 2.1 blocks per game. Three players had double-doubles in Round 26: Shved along with Real duo Facundo Campazzo (14 points and 10 assists) and Tavares (15 points and 10 rebounds).
