It was a busy day in Moscow on Wednesday as Khimki Moscow Region was the latest team to embark on the Media Day to get ready for the new season.
Coach Rimas Kurtinaitis is starting its eighth season with the club and he demonstrated to be a seasoned pro dealing with the media. It was also the first chance to see some newcomers like Errick McCollum and Greg Monroe dressing in yellow for the official pictures and TV graphics.
Most of the Khimki team stayed the same from last season, so there were many familiar faces who knew the drills of Media Day like Alexey Shved, Sergey Monia or Egor Vialtsev plus some like Jordan Mickey, who returned to Khimki after one season away.
A new season approaches and as always, Khimki aims for the highest goals. Media Day was the first step of a new journey that will last well into 2021.
