Post-game quotes

Rimas Kurtinaitis, BC Khimki head coach:

"Congratulations to CSKA and coach Itoudis on a really good game. They played smart and with good activity. Tonight we lost because of small things as we missed many lay-ups and free three-pointers. And of course you remember the last shot by De Cole at the end of the second quarter as well as some tough shots by Teodosic. They made these shots and thas was the difference. Usually we play with CSKA at around one hundred points as we score on them and they score on us but tonight they were much better, especially on a three-point percentage. They got 57 per cent from a three-point line that was the reason why we lost".

Petteri Koponen, BC Khimki guard:

"CSKA is always a tough opponent and we needed to play some defense against them. That was not for the first time when a team scores a hundred points against us. In last games we had some problems but needed to give more effort and start playing together to help each other and be ready. Playing like this is very tough to beat other teams. We can also score over hundred points but everything starts with defense. We have enough talent in the offense to put points on the scoreboard but it's up to defense again".
