The Third International Olympic Champion Boloshev Tournament among boys (class 1996-97) came to the end. BC Khimki young players won convincingly. In final they defeated boys from the CSKA — 63-43. In the match for the bronze medals Moscow team PanTerra beated the international guests — the team from Minsk, Belarus — 49-39.
With the final match completed, was a colorful closing ceremony. The participants and winners received awards and medals. Young players were greeted by the BC Khimki General Manager Victor Bychkov, The Olympic Champion Alexander Boloshev, the coach of national team (class 1991) Aleksey Vadeev, Honored coach of USSR Oleg Kim and Honored coach of Latvia Nicolay Bolvachev.
