This day the practice was just one but long – 3,5 hours. “ We decided to show ourselves in all our beauty”, — players joked after the practice.

— We work hard, but we understand that we have not an easy job to do – defend the title of European champion, — said Vitaly Fridzon. – The atmosphere in the team is very friendly and I find a pleasure to work in it.

During the open practice Petr Gubanov was working out on his own….
— The day before we had a medical, which showed I had a fever. But I have no other symptom of cold. Doctors said tomorrow I would practice equally with my teammates – explained Gubanov.

The third representative of BC Khimki in National team this day was the center Timofey Mozgov.

— At the disposal of David Blatt there are three centers – Alexander Kaun, Dmitry Sokolov and me, difficult choice, isn’t? – Mozgov smiled.

National team is waiting for one more BC Khimki representative – Kelly McCarty. BC Khimki forward ,who had received the place of naturalized player in National team after the refusal of Holden, was called upon to reinforce the position of small forward . McCarty will join teammates on 27 of July.

David Blatt continues to keep an eye to power forward of BC Khimki – Fedor Dmitriev. In case in injury of somebody in the team, he will receive the place.
