On Sunday, July 15 VTB United League Council was held in Tallinn, where teams — tounrament participants and the format of the competition were asserted. Moreover a draw ceremony was conducted: BC Khimki got to Group A.

— The system of a tournament is good, regular season is to be long and interesting. I think our group is slightly stronger than the second ten.
