PRE-GAME QUOTES
Georgios Bartzokas, BC Khimki head coach:
“[Robinson’s injury] is something that hurts us right now because we lost the first rebounder in the EuroLeague and it’s not easy to cover his gap. At the same time, injuries are a part of the game, especially with a new format with this tough schedule. It happens, so right now we have to look forward and be ready to play a difficult game against a team that never gives up and quits. They fight until the end and have huge experience, especially in the backcourt with Zisis, Hickman and also Hackett. Besides great EuroLeague experience, they know how to control the game. On the other hand, we are coming from three losses in a row. First of all, we need to play better and need to play together. It’s going to be a very important game for us. I’m sure that we will fight and hopefully we’ll get back on the winning process. We are trying to get some adjustments since we lost Robinson”.
Anthony Gill, BC Khimki forward:
“They are a great team. We played with them in the preseason and it was a very close game. They gave a lot of good players on the team; the chemistry is good. I think that we just have to be ready, work hard on practice every day and prepare for this next game”.
