Here are the results of the EuroChallenge first round games.
Group A
Spartak SP — Szolnok 88-70
Spartak St Petersburg opened their EuroChallenge campaign with the home win over Szolnoki Olaj. The Russian team needed the last push in the end of the game for the total 88:70 win. Dijon Thompson (201-G/F-83, college: UCLA) stepped up with 21 points for the home side and Zupan nailed 17. Domercant finished the game with 13 points and Antic netted 8. Trotter and Bader nailed 18 points each in defeat, while Clark posted 9.

N.Novgorod — Gravelines 64-70
BCM Gravelines Dunkerque spoil Nizhny Novgorod start in EuroChallenge in both openers. The team from France stole a comfortable 70:64 win for the first victory.Ben Woodside (180-G-85, agency: Priority Sports, college: N.Dakota St.) paced all the winners with 23 points and Bokolo collected 14 points and 10 rebounds. Issa netted 11, while Akpomedah posted 8. Paunic replied with 18 points for the Russian side. Plisnic followed him with 10 and Akindele ended up with 9 points.

Group B
Dt.Bank SKY — Maccabi Haifa 78-83
One of the most interesting and expected games were played in Germany as D. Bank Skyliners hosted Maccabi Haifa in the EuroChallenge opener of Group B. The team from Israel grabbed 83:78 win to take 1-0 record in the group.O'Bannon led the way with 20 points and Sylven Landesberg (198-G-90, college: Virginia) followed him with 19. Killingsworth nailed 14, whilst Low added 10. Powell answered with 18 points in the losing case. Bahiense de Mello and Wood posted 13 apiece, while McKinney notched 12.

Khimik — Ventspils 71-82
Anderson erupted with 27 points for his Latvian team against Khimik in Yuzhniy. BK Ventspils celebrated 82:71 win in the opener of EuroChallenge campaign on Tuesday night in Ukraine. Saulius Kuzminskas (210-C/F-82, college: California) collected 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners, while Strelnieks added 12. Bizaca, Millage and Garrison notched 13 points apiece for the home side.

Group C
Lugano Tigers — TU/Rock 73-61
Lugano Basket opened their EuroChallenge Regular Season account with a home win over Tartu University Rock. The Swiss team overcame the guests 73:61 as they won the second period 23-13. Abukar Mohammed stepped up with 26 points for the hosts and Michael Efevberha (196-G-84, college: Cal.St. Northridge) followed him with 18. Allingu Vallo responded with 13 points and 11 rebounds in the losign effort. Talts Janar notched 12 and Leppik Silver added 11.

Lukoil Academik — Benfica 92-71
Lukoil Academic overcame Lisboa Benfica at the start of the EuroChallenge Regular Season. The Bulgarian side started with 28-17 and never looked behind in the court. Kaspars Kambala (206-C-78, college: UNLV) erupted with 18 points and 8 rebounds, while James Dominic as well as Bowman Brandon netted 14 points each for the team from Sofia. Evans Heshimu finished the night with 11 points in the losing effort.

Group D
Liege — Elitzur Netanya 70-67
Liege outscored visiting Elitzur Netanya 70:67 on November 16th. The Belgian side controlled the game for the majority of the time, but Adrian Banks (191-G-86, college: NW Mississippi CC) with his team trailing by a point and just six seconds from the end, missed both attempts for Elitzur Netanya. Raivio Nick led the way with 14 points and Stipanovic Andrija had 13 points and 11 boards. Brown Elton ended up with 22 points for the visiting team.

Norrkoping — Turk Telekom 101-89
Norrkoping became the best-scoring team in the Regular Season Round 1 as they poured in 101 points over their opponent. The Swedish side is back to European arena with the win over Turk Telekom 101:89. They started with 41:21 the first period to shock the German side. George Gervin (189-G-76, college: Houston) (189-G-76, college: Houston) top-scored for the winners with 16 points and Lindqvist Mikael delivered 15. Gaffney Anthony answered with 24 points and 11 boards, while Cankaya Yunus scored 23.

Group E
BK Prostejov — Krka 89-77
BK Prostejov from Czech Republic opened their EuroChallenge 2010/2011 campaign with the home win KRKA on Tuesday. The hosts produced a 30-18 in the last quarter for the total 89:77 win. Landry Kyle paced all the winners with 19 points and Eugene Lawrence (184-G-86, college: St.John's) as well as Slezas Andrius had 15 each. Booker Christopher finished the night with 21 points and 12 rebounds in defeat.

KK Zagreb CO — Telekom Baskets 96-100
Telekom Baskets Bonn won the first overtime game in the EuroChallenge Regular Season. The German Powerhouse grabbed 100:96 over KK Zagreb CO as Jeremy Hunt (196-G-83, college: Memphis) posted 25 points to lead all the winners. Ensminger Chris and Jaacks Jacob each added 19, whilst Campbell Folarin added 11.Zoric Luka ended up with 29 points and 10 rebounds for the hosts.

Group F
Antwerp — Lokomotiv 87-83
Antwerp and Lokomotiv showed one of the most exciting starts of the EuroChallenge campaign as they needed two overtimes for the winner in the game. Bryan Hopkins (183-G-83, college: SMU) hit a go-ahead three-pointer in the second extra period to propel the hosts to 87:83 victory. He finished the game with 24 points and Mejri Salah followed him with 16 points and 12 caroms. Chalmers Lionel answered with 20 points in the losing effort.

Dynamo — Steaua Turabo 88-60
Russian Dynamo rolled over Steaua Turabo 88:60 at the Regular Season Round 1 in the capital. The hosts started with 22-14 and never looked behind after. Vasili Zavoruev (196-G-87) poured in 23 points to lead the race, while Shabalkin Nikita ended up with 19 points. Stanescu Virgil responded with 20 points for the visiting side.

Group G
APOEL — Etha 86-59
APOEL hosted Etha in the game between two teams from Cyprus in EuroChallenge. The more experienced team celebarted a 86:59 home win as Zvonko Buljan (206-F-87, college: TCU) erupted with 24 points and 16 rebounds for the hosts. Davis Jeremiah netted 19 and Lee Arthur posted 14. King Anthony responded with 17 points in defeat.

Karsiyaka — Zadar 88-81
Izmir saw Karsiyaka cruising past Zadar 88:81 in the start of the Regular Season Round 1 in Group G. Batuk Birkan and Osiris Eldridge (191-G-88, college: Illinois St.) top-scored for the winners with 19 points each, while Aldemir Furkan had 13 points and 14 boards. Brown Brandon ended up with 20 points in the losing case and Ivanov Ive scored 19.

Group H
Nancy — Oostende 72-69
Nancy overcame Oostende 72:69 in Group H opener as they went in front by nine points midway through the fourth quarter but had to hold on for dear life at the end. Willie Deane (186-G-80, agency: Higher Vision Sports, college: Purdue) led the way with 19 points and Darden Tremmell followed him with 17. Lojeski Matt collected 14 points and 11 rebounds in defeat, whilst Mitchell Darrel and Thomas, Will had 12 apiece.

Orleans — M.Hainaut 82-76
Bell Troy paced Entente Orleanaise over Dexia Mons-Hainaut at the Regular Season Round 1. He nailed 28 points for the total 82:76 success. Jamar Smith (206-F/C-80, college: Maryland) notched 17 points for the winners and Moerman Adrien brought 13. Lewis Ron responded with 15 points for the visiting side.
