31-year old guard Terrell Lyday (190-G-79) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Unics Kazan and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 23.
He had the game-high 39 points adding two rebounds and two assists for Unics in his team's victory, helping them to crush Enisey (#6, 10-12) with 25-point margin 101-76. It allowed Unics to consolidate first place in the Russian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Unics has a very solid 16-5 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Lyday had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He has many years of experience at Unics, through which he has constantly improved. Terrell Lyday averages this season 13.5ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Andrey Vorontsevich (204-C-87) of CSKA Moscow. He is international center in his 5th season at CSKA. In the last game Vorontsevich recorded impressive 29 points and 9 rebounds. It was enough for CSKA to edge the lower-ranked Triumph (#10, 4-18) by 4 points 87-83. This victory allowed CSKA to move up to 4th position in the standings. His team's 15-8 record is not bad at all. Vorontsevich is one of the most experienced players at CSKA and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Patrick Beverley (185-G-88) of Spartak SP (#3). Beverley scored 24 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Spartak SP, leading his team to a 72-71 win against the lower-ranked Krasnie Krilya (#8, 7-15). Spartak SP needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 15 victories and 8 lost games. Beverley has a great season in Russia. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 13.6ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 6.9rpg (4th best).
