30-year old guard Lionel Chalmers (184-G-80) put on an amazing game in the last round for Lokomotiv Kuban and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had the game-high 22 points adding seven rebounds and four assists for Lokomotiv in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Enisey (#6, 6-8) with 32-point margin 104-72. Lokomotiv is placed at 3rd position in Russian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Lokomotiv will need more victories to improve their 10-5 record. In the team's last game Chalmers had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Lokomotiv's top player in his first season with the team. Lionel Chalmers averages this season 13.1ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Michael Wilkinson (204-F-81, agency: Interperformances). He is American-FYR Macedonian forward in his first season at Lokomotiv. In the last game Wilkinson recorded impressive 23 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course together with Chalmers he helped Lokomotiv with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Enisey (#6, 6-8) 104-72. This victory allowed Lokomotiv to move up to 3rd position in the standings. His team's 10-5 record is not bad at all. Wilkinson is a newcomer at Lokomotiv and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.7ppg (#6). He also registered 5.9 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Nikola Dragovic (206-F-87) of Spartak SP (#5). Dragovic scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He was a key player of Spartak SP, leading his team to a 88-68 easy win against the lower-ranked Krasnie Krilya (#8, 5-10). Spartak SP needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 6 lost games. Dragovic has a very solid season. In 9 games in Russia he scored 7.7ppg.
