Krylia – now in playoffs 22  may  2011

PBC CSKA Moscow
It is the sweetest time of the basketball season. Our team starts in the playoffs with the games against Krasnye Krylia Samara. The one who wins two games first will continue its way.
The army team roster stays the same. Red-blues will have the same roster as in Dynamo game. Nikita Kurbanov (tendinitis in quadriceps muscle of the left thigh) started to practice individually. Jamont Gordon (fracture of the anterior wall of the left frontal sinus) will start practicing with the team. It is expected that Krylia will have one of their leaders back – Primoz Brezec is ready to return after ankle injury.

“As I have already mentioned I was satisfied with two last games our team played,” – CSKA head coach Jonas Kazlauskas said. “First of all, I like the team’s focus and the effort of bench players. The level of responsibility is higher in the playoffs so I will ask the players to keep the same level of concentration. Moreover I am sure that the opponents did not show their best basketball, and they played without Brezec. I will also remind my players about the game where we needed two overtimes to win. I think it tells more about the opponents’ potential.”
