CSKA — Krasnie Krilya 82-73
It looked good early as Krasnie Krilya took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then CSKA Moscow had a 14-12 second period charge getting the lead and Krasnie Krilya was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 73-82. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Sasha Kaun (211-85) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Lithuanian guard Ramunas Siskauskas (197-78) contributed with 15 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four CSKA Moscow players scored in double figures. American-Bosnian guard Ernest Bremer (195-80, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: Higher Vision Sports) answered with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Slovenian power forward Primoz Brezec (216-79) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Krasnie Krilya. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 21-15 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Lokomotiv looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American-FYR Macedonian forward Michael Wilkinson (204-81, college: Wisconsin, agency: Interperformances) fired 26 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American guard Lionel Chalmers (184-80, college: Xavier) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Lokomotiv players scored in double figures. Lokomotiv's coach Kestutis Kemzura used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Marcus Williams (191-85, college: Connecticut) produced 28 points and 5 assists and Serbian power forward Dragan Labovic (207-87, agency: Alti Sport) added 18 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side.

The game without a history. Unics Kazan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Unics Kazan players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. BC Nizhny Novgorod was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Polish-Swedish center Maciej Lampe (210-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds. American guard Terrell Lyday (190-79, college: BYU) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Forward Artem Yakovenko (206-88, agency: RU-Basket Management) answered with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian guard Nemanja Protic (182-86) added 20 points and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws) in the effort for BC Nizhny Novgorod. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

It looked good early as Spartak St.Petersburg took an 11-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Khimky took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 5 points. Spartak St.Petersburg was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for international guard Vitaly Fridzon (195-85) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 5 rebounds. Croatian-Bosnian guard Zoran Planinic (199-82) contributed with 13 points for the winners. American guard Patrick Beverley (185-88, college: Arkansas) answered with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Bosnian guard Henry Domercant (192-80, college: E.Illinois) added 17 points in the effort for Spartak St.Petersburg. Four Khimky and five Spartak St.Petersburg players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.
