Nymburk picks up big man Spralja 18  october  2011

CEZ Nymburk bolstered its frontline by signing veteran big man Sime Spralja. Nymburk played against the player last season in the Adriatic League. Spralja (2.06 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Bosnian side Siroki Brijeg, where he had spent the past five seasons. He averaged 12.6 points and 4.5 rebounds in 25 Adriatic League contests last season, including 31 points on 5-of-8 three-point shooting in the two games against Nymburk. Spralja started his career with hometown side Zadar, where he made his Euroleague debut the day after his 17th birthday. He remained with Zadar through 2005 during which time he played in three ULEB Cup campaigns, won the Adriatic League once and the Croatian League twice. Spralja then played one season for Split before moving to Siroki, with whom he has conquered three league championships.
