Asseco Prokom did not forget about trip to Krasnoyarsk 29  february  2012
The Polish Asseco Prokom played at home to the Russian Enisey and got revenge — 89:73.
Despite the tournament standings (before this match Asseco Prokom and Enisey held 7th and 8 th place in Group B respectively), both teams had something to prove to each other. The Polish club, which was left last week without their head coach Tomas Pacesas, craved for taking revenge on the Siberians for their defeat in Krasnoyarsk on January (79:102), whereas Enisey, which also recently said goodbye to their former mentor — Stevan Karadzic, wanted to break their series of failures.

Three minutes after the beginning Asseco Prokom was ahead — 9:5 after distant shot by Przemyslav Zamojski. And by the end of the quarter advantage of Andrzej Adamek players exceeded a double-digit mark — 26:16.

In the second 10-minute period the hosts continued to play effectively. Activity of Donatas Motiejunas and three-pointers by pair of forwards Severin-Frasunkevich helped Prokom to increase the advantage to «+14» — 39:25. But Krasnoyarsk players managed to gain strength and tried to level the score. Acting head coach of Enisey Milan Kotarats took a timeout after which the Siberians started playing much better. Through the efforts of the effective trio –Komarovskiy-Kikanovic-Toporov by the middle of the third quarter Enisey reduced the gap to «-3» — 48:51.

But, to the delight of local fans, the champion of Poland was able to reverse the outcome of the match once again. In the final quarter Asseco Prokom increased their advantage to «+20» points and brought the game to win — 80:60.

The final score — 89:73 in favor of the Polish club. Asseco Prokom won the sixth victory in the championship and got even with the opponent for the defeat in Krasnoyarsk. In the home team Zamojski finished with 22 points while Motiejunas had 14 and 8 rebounds. In Enisey the most productive was Andrei Trushkin (14 points).
