CSKA to face Maccabi in the Euroleague Group B 10 july 2014

2014-15 Euroleague regular season draw takes place in Barcelona.
Regular season groups:
Group А: Rea Madrid, Anadolu Efes, Zalgiris Kaunas, Nizhny Novgorod, Dynamo Sassari, QR Winner.
Group В: CSKA Moscow, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Unicaja Malaga, Alba Berlin, Cedevita Zagreb, Limoges.
Group С: FC Barcelona, Panathinaikos Athens, Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul, EA7 Emporio Armani, Bayern Munich, Turow Zgorzelec.
Group D: Olympiacos Pireaus, Valencia Basket, Laboral Kutxa, Galatasaray Istanbul, Crvena Zvezda Belgrade, Neptunas Klaipeda.

As I’ve always said, as many coaches used to say, before talking about the style the teams in our group may use, we have to wait to see what kind of rosters they and us will have. You have to wait also for the National Team players to return from performing their duties, to see the calendar and know what kind of away games we will have in the very beginning. The meeting with Euroleague Champion Maccabi will be special for us obviously but we have full respect towards other teams which did well in their leagues last season. We all know that the regular season is about the four best teams in a group qualifying for the Top 16 but it is also very important in building the team chemistry, in estimation of the renewed rosters. Hopefully our fans will let us know from the very beginning what kind of expectations do they have. I want them to fill the stands, to show the desire to help the team winning. Than we will use their energy and reward them for their trust and support, we will be proud to win for them.
