VTB United League
Teams’ head coaches in All-Star Game in Moscow, on February 16 will be Evgeny Pashutin and Rimas Kurtinaitis.
Lokomotiv-Kuban’s coach will head All-Stars Russia, and Khimki’s coach will head All-Stars World.
Evgeny Pashutin and Rimas Kurtinaitis will announce starting line-ups on February 12.
– The League chooses All-Star coaches depending on actual regular season, – noted League’s CEO Ilona Korstin. – Rimas Kurtinaitis and his Khimki lead the league with 15 wins and 1 loss. This is extraordinary result, especially considering this year’s competition.
Evgeny Pashutin, the only Russian coach in VTB League, came back to Lokomotiv-Kuban and since then the team hasn’t lost, taking 7th straight win.
I’m sure that both coaches can find an approach to All-Stars, can divide minutes among players properly and become part of the show.
