Khimki Moscow Region will have a rough start to the second leg of the regular season as the club announced that forward Anthony Gill will be out indefinitely with a nose fracture.
Gill (2.04 meters, 27 years old) suffered the injury during the last VTB League game against CSKA Moscow and had to leave the court. Gill averages 9.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists in the regular season as he had not missed any of the 17 games so far. As his injury evolves, a comeback date will be announced by the club. Gill was a revelation in his rookie EuroLeague season two years ago, averaging 11.8 points and 4.5 rebounds. His numbers were similar last season, but he was limited to just 13 games due to a knee injury.
