Larkin, Vesely headline new Bucket Challenge from home
If you can’t wait to see stars like Shane Larkin and Jan Vesely back in action, we have some great news: they are just two of the 10 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague players taking part in the brand-new Bucket Challenge, a fun shooting contest that tests their accuracy playing from home.

The players have been split into two groups of five; Team Shane consists of Anadolu Efes Istanbul sharpshooter Shane Larkin along with Billy Baron of Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade, Austin Hollins of Zenit St Petersburg, Anthony Gill of Khimki Moscow Region and Kyle Hines of CSKA Moscow. They are challenged by Team Jan led by Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul center and reigning EuroLeague MVP Jan Vesely, who is joined by Nemanja Nedovic of AX Armani Exchange Milan, Petteri Koponen of FC Bayern Munich, Niels Giffey of ALBA Berlin and Brock Motum of Valencia Basket.

There will be five rounds in total, with each round seeing one player from each team attempt to make 15 shots in 90 seconds: 12 shots from one position at least three meters from the basket plus three more Moneyball attempts, which must be shot behind the back. Each regular basket will count for 1 point and the Moneyball shots count for 3 points each. The team with the most points after all five rounds will be declared the winner of the inaugural Bucket Challenge!

The event, which comes as part of #EUROLEAGUEUNITED campaign, is being presided over by Euroleague Basketball Legend Joe Arlauckas, who said: “It is a real honor for me to present such a fun event and I’m sure fans are going to enjoy watching it!

"It's a lot of fun to interact with the players as they compete against each other from their own homes all over the world. No matter what the environment, when you put together a group of players like this it always becomes a little bit competitive! I know fans will love seeing that competitive spirit from these great guys coming together to provide us with some entertainment during these tough times."

So, who do you think will take the glory? Are you with Team Shane or Team Jan? Keep your eyes peeled…the action starts soon!
