The first match after the victory in Russian Cup BC Khimki played against the outsider of superleague – “Enisey” Krasnoyarsk. The home team won convincingly and established a record – the lead 39 points — 93-54 (27-12, 23-10, 23-22, 20-10). Next match BC Khimki will play on 15th of February in Lyubertsy against “Triumph”.

Before the beginning of the match the celebration of winners of Russian Cup took place. After the video with triumphal moments from Kazan, the telegrams from the Moscow Region Governor Boris Gromov and the Head of Khimki town Vladimir Strelchenko was read out.
The starting line was Ewing, Fridzon, McCarty, Wilkinson, Lampe. From the beginning of the match our team took the lead 8-1. The Khimki coaches decided to rehearse combinations with Clay Tucker. Teammates constantly gave opportunity to newcomer for shooting. The first points Tucker scored on 14 th minutes of the match. As a result Tucker became the top scorer of BC Khimki.
The ringleader of second part of the match became Nikita Morgunov. The lead increased only. The winners of Russian Cup didn’t permit themselves to play in a slipshod manner and made happy our fans by spectacular shots and combinations.
After the final buzzer the representatives of fan-club “Khimki spines” made a present to players and coaches – the cake ball-shaped.
