In memory of the captain… 3 july 2007
The 1st Alexander Petrenko Pro Memoria Tournament will pass in Khimki on 7-9 July. The BC Khimki captain, the Russia National team player tragically perished on 21 of July 2006. The Tournament is created by the initiative of Russian Basketball Federation and BC Khimki. The Cadets National Teams from Germany, Czech Republic, Israel and Russia will participate in the competition.
Our national team is headed by the BC Khimki coach, the silver medalist of the European Championship -2006 with the team of Russia (class 1990), The EYBL-91 champion, the friend of Alexander Petrenko — Aleksey Vadeev. Khimki players are in majority in this team.
The Alexander Petrenko memorial tablet will be opened at 15-00 on 7 of July.
