We are waiting for victory in the Crete19 july 2007

The Russian Team U16 headed by Aleksey Vadeev went to Greece, where from 20th to 29 of July will pass the Cadet European Championship. The goal of our players is to challenge for medals. And it is best to exceed last year result in Spain. At the time only one circumstance prevented Russian players to win gold medals…

Last year in final game the Vadeev team yielded 106-110 in second OT because of phenomenal performance of Spanish player Ricardo Rubio. He had 51 points, 24 rebounds and 12 assists.

In the preliminary round 16 teams are divided into 4 groups. The first 3 teams in each group will qualify for the Qualifying Round. The 12 teams will be ranked and divided into 2 groups of 6 teams. Each team will play 3 games.
