Our team being down during two periods could turn the play around on its head — 84-79 (13-18, 22-28, 22-13, 27-20). The top scorer in team of Russia became Petr Gubanov from BC Khimki – 17 points and 6 rebounds. Aleksey Shved scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. By the results of the second group stage the Top 4 will be defined, which will fight for the medals.
