A draw ceremony of VTB United League was held 12 august 2010

On Thursday, in President Hotel a press conference, dedicated to the new VTB United League season, was held. Within the bounds of the event a draw ceremony of a group stage of the tournament was carried out. In Group B our team will meet with Asseco Prokom Gdynia, BC Žalgiris, BC Kalev/Cramo, BC Azovmash and VEF Riga.

Twelve teams from eight countries will take part in a new VTB United League season: three teams from Russia – BC Khimki, UNICS Kazan and CSKA Moscow; two Lithuanian teams – BC Žalgiris and BC Lietuvos Rytas; one Polish team – Asseco Prokom Gdyniain; two Ukrainian teams – BC Azovmash and BC Dnepr; and also a team from Belorussia – BC Minsk-2006; Estonian BC Kalev/Cramo; Latvian VEF Riga and Finnish BC Honka.

The teams were divided into two groups.

Group stage consists of two circles. The schedule will be announced on August, 20. Two best teams each group will go further: they will play in Final Four, that will be held approximately on April, 22-23. The venue has not yet been determined.
