Mikhail Kimissarov, head coach:
— The matches were held in a new present-day sports complex, the atmosphere proved to be pleasant. We have won all the games with evident score advantage. However it doesn't mean there was no struggle. Our opponents showed smart basketball. It's important our team is showing its class, the mentality of the winner.
The key game was against S. Marciulionis BA. We both were not beaten before this very meeting. Moreover two years ago they were victorious over us in the final. We had an incredible mood before the starting buzzer. All the guys managed to do their job excellent. I would particularly like to point out the efficiency of Martynov, Alferov and Guzikov.
The final game with BC Hito has become the first place match. We were better although played without injured Alferov. Besides other players of the team wonderfully showed themselves. As for
Guzikov he was named the
MVP of this round.
