— We scored five wins in five matches, but I cannot say all the games were easy, — said the head coach of the Moscow Region team and also EYBL Khimki-team coach Mikhail Komissarov. — All competitors are about the same level and very decent. Our first meeting was with a team of Irkutsk Region. A difficult match. Firstly, it was the start of the tournament, and secondly we did not know this team well. Actually it was a combined team of Siberia. The team had very good guys. The next meeting was with the Moscow team. The guys fought back, but we groped our game. I am glad we managed to sort out very even roster with a wide rotation.
In fours best teams of the groups entered playoffs. Knock-out matches will be held at: January 27 — Quarterfinals, January 28 — the games for 5-8-th places and the semi-finals, January 29 — the games for the 7 th, the 5 th and the bronze medal and the final.
