The list of pretenders for the honorary title was generated by League’s council of experts, which noticed not only individual statistics of players, but also their clubs’ results. One player from each club qualified for play-off became a nominee.

Eight pretenders for MVP chosen for the poll on our web-site are:

Andrey Kirilenko (CSKA). In the regular season: 9 matches, average – 10,8 points, 5,8 rebounds, 1,3 block-shots, 2,0 assists, 1,2 steals, 15,1 points for efficiency.

Henry Domercant (UNICS). In the regular season: 16 matches, average – 12,3 points, 1,6 assists, 2,8 rebounds, 0,8 steals, 11,8 points for efficiency.

Kresimir Loncar (Khimki). In the regular season: 13 matches, average – 14,6 points, 5,4 rebounds, 0,8 assists, 0,8 steals, 18,1 points for efficiency.

Patrick Beverley (Spartak). In the regular season: 14 matches, average – 12,9 points, 4,8 rebounds, 4,6 assists, 2,1 steals, 15,6 points for efficiency.

Jonas Valanciunas (Lietuvos Rytas). In the regular season: 16 matches, average – 10, 8 points, 8,0 rebounds, 0,7 assists, 1,8 block-shots, 16,5 points for efficiency.

Paulius Jankunas (Zalgiris). In the regular season: 16 matches, average – 11,8 points, 5,2 rebounds, 1,2 assists, 12,5 points for efficiency.

Jeremiah Massey (Lokomotiv-Kuban). In the regular season: 16 matches, average – 12,9 points, 6,3 rebounds, 1,1 assists, 1,3 steals, 14,8 points for efficiency.

Semen Antonov (Nizhniy Novgorod). In the regular season: 16 matches, average – 10,3 points, 5,1 rebounds, 2,1 assists, 0,8 steals, 13,3 points for efficiency.

Fans’ vote for MVP identification of the regular season-2011/12 will last for two weeks till April, 2nd. Five players, who will get the highest rates in vote will get points (from 5 to 1, according to number of votes), which will be included in total score for the MVP identification.

— Poll on the League’s web-site
— Players’ efficiency rate (sum of statistic rates)
— MVP of the month titles and being in month’s symbolic five during current season
— VTB United League council experts’ and «Sport-Express» newspaper opinion.

The holder of MVP title of the regular season VTB United League-2011/12 will be officially named in April. We remind you, that in two previous seasons forward of Russian CSKA Victor Khryapa and a guard of Ukrainian Azovmash Ramel Curry got this prize.
