PRE-GAME QUOTES

Rimas Kurtinaitis, BC Khimki head coach:

"Our opponent is Crvena Zvezda, that plays very strong at home in front of its fans. On the road, they play not always confident like many clubs. Right now, they have some problems with centers as they parted ways with Schortsanitis and signed Stimac. Crvena Zvezda lost twice in the Adriatic League and once in the Euroleague but in the beginning of the season all clubs have equal chances. In our group all the teams have a 1-1 record so far. We play at home and have to beat Crvena Zvezda".

Marko Todorovic, BC Khimki forward:

"We expect a difficult game. Crvena Zvezda is playing well in the Adriatic League but they have many injured players. Now they have signed a new player for center position. They also have many good young players who perform with energy. They will try to beat us and we have to play a good game because we do at home and have a very important game. They played very good game against Strasbourg at home, where they are always dangerous. We have to play our game and be aggressive. I know their coach who is a very good specialist and likes to play aggressively with a lot of contact. They will play hard and fight until the end".
