Rimas Kurtinaitis, BC Khimki head coach:

“Laboral Kutxa is a very dangerous team. Many people first think about favorites like CSKA, Barcelona and Real Madrid but underestimate clubs like Brose Baskets and Laboral Kutxa. This is not to say that they are weak as they have good players in their rosters. Kutxa defeated Zalgiris in Kaunas with the 13-thousand support and it says a lot about the Spanish team. Moreover, they gave a good fight to Olympiacos. Laboral Kutxa plays fast and tough basketball and we know coach Perasovic, who worked in Valencia for several years. In turn, we must set off our hardness, aggression and energy. Of course, our goal is to win because it’s our home and we must win if we want to qualify for the playoffs. We have to control Bourousis near the hoop as he plays great right now. But Laboral has other good players in the roster. I mean Shengelia and Tillie at the power forward positions and a pair of guards Adams – James. They make assists and play well in defense but also score a lot”.

Zoran Dragic, BC Khimki guard:

“The Spanish League is one of the best leagues in Europe. Laboral Kutxa plays very fast basketball and has good players, especially Bourousis. He is really good right now. They have a very good coach, too. It’s gonna be a tough game for us but we must show our best now because it’s very important to win all home games. Especially after the game, we showed in Barcelona. We just need to be focused all 40 minutes and play good defense as well as box-out. I think this is the main thing we have to work on now. We must show the opponent that it’s our home, it’s our court”.
