PRE-GAME QUOTES
Georgios Bartzokas, BC Khimki head coach:
“I’ve read that GMs of the EuroLeague clubs agreed that right now Real Madrid is the most fun team to watch. That means they are in a good shape; their results are obvious as they beat Fenerbahce on the road. They found the chemistry with the newcomers. Everybody understands that no matter of the result of the first game in Spain, it’s going to be a completely different game, very difficult for us. So, we need to be well prepared for a tough play. During the game we cannot have moments when we are losing concentration because offensively Real can punish for every mistake. So, this is the process”.
Alexey Shved, BC Khimki guard:
“We have to play aggressive defense, cut their players, take boards, share the ball and stay together. The more open shots we have, the easier it will be to score, that’s we need”.
